@adamalada1 itd be nice if you had the call on recording, personally i record all my orders if i call someone up… theres no doubt in my mind that your dealing with a BS company, but i still think in order for them to continue to do business over the phone they had to have some form of legalization behind it… It’d also be good to know how they advertised, was it radio, mail, tv, etc?
what im imagining happened (if theyre not COMPLEETLY bogus) is you got hooked by a double talking agent…
@LilDemon147 not at all, i thought ii was going to get just the berries, for a postage cost of $12 the two other transactions appeared on my statement.. funny thing is i dont need to lose weight, i was told they would be a good supplement to use donw the gym.
i ended up with an additional $40.80 for accesscleans (what ever the f–k that is) and ultifreshwell $40.80 agian, what ever that is….
i would certainly say tyou got the shit end of the stick…. so are you saying you got 3 seperate transactions for 3 seperate products, or that the “agent” told you about these products, but failed to mention the price difference?

my bank gave me a number to call which had an awful dance song on for over an hour before i got through, but they have scripted, canned responses so you wont get a straight answer.

my berries were upsold to something called accescleans and ultifreshwell which was added to the total AFTER the transaction. THis is any law in the developed world is fraud. The call centre, no offence to you were awful, saying canned responses and not having any opinion, just reading a script. does that make my facts less valid? i would think, logically, given i have more knowledge on the subject, that my opinion would be the only one that really had any ground to stand on.
how they got your bank information is beyond me and they cant just access your bank information and put charges on there at will…thats illigal, not to mention for the bank to give them that information if requested, your bank is commiting serious fraud.

So theres nothing a company could do in that situation to deny your refund… youd have proof of receipt, and that would have the date posted, if a company tries to deny the refund, any trade authority will take one look at that and grant your case..
not that you should have to go through that, and in most cases people don’t have too.. YES there are shady dealers out there, but the only reason that they get away is because the consumer dosnt know the procedure to follow
as far as CS goes, i HAVE heard that, and that is a problem, but did you know if a company has X amount of customers on autoship theyre required by law to have X ammount of customer service reps? personally i think that the ratio needs to be raised…
anyhow, lets say your on a trial due to end the 30th.. what you do is on day 29, send the product back and have it sighned for, that way when its delivered you know it got there,the package will be postmarked on the day you sent..
Heh, well to be honest with you i actually sold acai products in a call center and i can tell you the numbers arent fake, in order too take credit cards over the phone they have to follow very strict ftc guidelines and policies, and that includes substanciating claims made in advertising…
now ive taken countless re-orders from customers, so the product i sold DOES work for alot of people. (i dont work at that call center anymore though, i moved)

@carlamefernandes no you cant – they get around it by getting you on a subscription – even if it is on a credit card, and you have no credit, they will charge your bank who will subsequently forward the charge on to you! Crooks, thieving bastards!
